Your surgery prehabilitation program
Measure
We will ask you about your surgery date, details about yourself, and will measure some critical biomarkers with artificial intelligence on your phone to understand where you are today.
With that data, our coaches will call you to prioritize goals for you for the next 4 or 6 weeks prior to your surgery so you can be in the best possible condition to recover quickly, increase mobility and be in the right state of mind
Coaching Plan
We will provide you with over 3 hours of daily LIVE sessions oriented to your needs
A private videoconference once a week for the 4 weeks prior to your surgery
A private session with a psychologist the day before the surgery
A personalized exercise plan for the 6 weeks prior to your surgery, day by day, with progression and tracking from our coaches
4 weeks of post-surgery coaching and recovery with LIVE and recorded recovery classes, private chat with our coaches and continuous monitoring of your biomarkers to return to your prior condition.
Take two minutes to understand how it works. The difference between our prehab program and our our basic program is the personalization, intensity, focus and coaching day by day with our team with a clear objective during a limited period of time (4-6 weeks) to help you be in the best condition possible.
Why should you care?
A major surgery is associated with a reduction of up to 40% in functional capacity or physiological reserve, placing patients at a high risk of postoperative complications.
15% of patients experience severe postoperative morbidity, meaning complications after the surgical procedure that prolong hospital stays and even endanger the patient's life.
These complications are an unexpected and undesirable result in the treatment process that causes an extension of the hospital stay or some type of disability.
Prehabilitation aims to improve physiological reserve and minimize or control patient comorbidities such as overweight, hypertension, sarcopenia, and diabetes to optimize the success rate of the surgery as well as the recovery time and quality of recovery.
This involves a combination of exercise, nutrition, and psychological programs aimed at improving the functional capacity of patients so they can better withstand the physical and mental stressors associated with a complex surgical procedure and thus minimize postoperative complications.
You have one body, and this body is going to be under a lot of pressure the next few months. Give your body the best chance to recover well.
